JAKE EBERTS

Mr. Jake Eberts is one of the most successful independent producers in the film industry, having produced or financed scores of films that have garnered 65 Oscar nominations in all categories, winning 27, including 4 for Best Picture.

Jake is non-executive chairman of National Geographic Feature Films and sits on the Board of the Sundance Channel. He also serves on the Board of the Sundance Institute, which was founded 25 years ago by Robert Redford and is dedicated to the development of artists of independent vision and the exhibition of their new work. Jake has financed, produced or executive produced films such as Watership Down, Chariots of Fire, Gandhi, Local Hero, The Killing Fields, The Dresser, The Name of the Rose, Hope and Glory, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Driving Miss Daisy, Dances with Wolves, A River Runs Through It, Chicken Run, The Legend of Bagger Vance, and Two Brothers. Currently, Jake is producing Robert Redford’s A Walk In the Woods and Jacques Perrins’ Oceans.
